SHOW by SkyCity has been created in response to a major legal change in the gaming environment: the introduction of Mandatory Carded Play, which requires every guest to sign up and present a personal card before they play. Designed to improve customer care and responsibility, the risk was that this initiative might be a barrier, especially for casual or first-time players.

Our challenge was to change that perception. SHOW by SkyCity needed to feel like an invitation to something special.

The new name SHOW signalled “the greatest show in the city.” Using Animated 3D symbols, dice for gaming, a key for hotels, an olive for dining, and a glowing ticket for attractions each became a gateway into SkyCity’s world. Stylised, dimensional, and full of energy, they made the loyalty programme feel exciting and modern.

Each simulation is rendered with exacting attention to detail, surfaces are textured with depth and richness. Lighting is treated cinematically, using soft glows and gradients inspired by stage spotlights. Animations are built to feel effortless, elegant and continuous.

These moving simulations became the core of SHOW by SkyCity’s design system. Still frames and looped animations were adapted across touch points, from large-scale signage to in-venue screens, web, social and printed material. The unified aesthetic made the experience feel cohesive and alive, turning regulation into anticipation.

The CGI world gives SHOW its own stage presence. It embodies SkyCity’s brand traits - Thrilling,Responsible, Timeless, Inviting while giving every guest a visual cue that this is no ordinary card. SHOW by SkyCity is the beginning of something bigger, where every guest is part of the show.
